DeRouchey Racing
In November 2006, I was asked to create a custom gift by Dana DeRouchey for her husband Robert. This was a unique item that represented his love for racing. Dana submitted a few basic track photos of Robert in his Micro Sprint race car. We talked a bit about what she was looking for and I gathered some background information giving me a better understanding of Robert. I created a design mock-up for Dana to review. We were able to move through the design process fairly quickly as the designs can be emailed for review. Upon receipt of her approval production began and within just a few weeks the final project was completed and under their Christmas Tree. The gift was a success. According to Dana, Robert didn't waste anytime hanging his design above the fireplace in their home to share with their family and friends.
